Welcome!

Hey there, Flexperts!

Happy Camel Day (as my kids call it). Today I’m sharing 10 flexible roles across recruiting, project management, product marketing, finance, and ops — including $60–$80/hr recruiting contracts, a short-term interim Controller, and several 6–12 month PM and technical recruiting roles.

Some are senior and high-pay, some are lighter lift. All nicely delivered to your inbox.

Let’s dive in.

CONSULTING
Management Consulting / Project Management / GTM

This is a rolling contractor opportunity, meaning they build a bench of experienced consultants and project managers and staff them onto projects as needs come up.

Work spans project management, GTM support, and consulting-style execution tied to economic and community development initiatives.

What stands out:

  • Consulting-style project work (not internal ops)

  • Contractors are expected to be responsive and meeting-ready

  • Ongoing needs vs a single fixed assignment

The kind of person this suits:
Someone who’s comfortable jumping into defined projects, working with multiple stakeholders, and operating with some ambiguity.

CONSUMER WELLNESS
NUTRAFOL: Talent Associate (Contract)

This is a high-volume recruiting support role inside an established, fast-growing wellness brand — very systems- and coordination-heavy, not strategy-led.

You’d be deeply embedded in Greenhouse, keeping interviews, candidates, and hiring teams moving cleanly and on time, with some exposure to people-team projects.

What you need to know:

  • $35–$40/hour

  • W-2 contract

  • 40 hours/week

  • Heavy Greenhouse usage (end-to-end ATS management)

  • Works across multiple US time zones

HEALTHCARE TECH
Technical Product Marketing Manager

This is a demo- and enablement-focused product marketing role, not messaging or positioning work. The core of the assignment is improving how the product is shown, experienced, and sold.

You’d be owning demos, guided tours, videos, and demo tooling during a short, defined sprint.

What you need to know:

  • $50–$60/hour

  • 10-week contract

  • Heavy focus on demos, walkthroughs, and product storytelling

  • Tools like Figma, Arcade, Canva, Capsule are central

  • Close partnership with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement

The kind of person this suits:
Someone who’s done product marketing through demos — especially if you’ve worked in B2B SaaS or health tech and enjoy turning complex products into clean, compelling sales experiences.

DIGITAL HEALTH
Interim Controller – Short-Term Consultant

You’d be overseeing global accounting operations across multiple regions, leading audits, tightening controls, and advising leadership during a high-stakes period.

What you need to know:

  • Short-term engagement: Feb 1 – June 30, 2026

  • Senior scope: global accounting, audits, donor/investor reporting

  • CPA required

  • Oversees multi-country teams and subsidiaries

  • Less than 10% international travel

The kind of person this suits:
A seasoned Controller who’s comfortable parachuting into complex, global environments — especially someone who’s led audits, donor-funded entities, or multi-ERP accounting teams and can operate confidently with executive leadership.

B2B SAAS
Product Marketing Manager (Part-Time)

This is a foundational PMM role for a SaaS marketplace that sits squarely in the UGC + paid social ecosystem. You’d be owning positioning, launches, and adoption — not just messaging support.

You’re shaping how the product is understood and used, end to end.

What you need to know:

  • Part-time role

  • Required availability every weekday from 8am–12pm EST

  • First PMM hire — building from scratch

  • Heavy focus on launches, adoption, and enablement

The kind of person this suits:
Someone who’s already done PMM work in B2B SaaS and wants real ownership without a full-time schedule — especially if you’ve worked in product-led or marketplace models and enjoy turning features into clear stories that actually drive usage.

B2B SAAS
OKTA: Senior Recruiter – GTM Sales & Sales Engineering (Contract)

You’d be owning hiring for revenue teams, building pipelines, advising leaders, and closing candidates in a fast-growth environment.

What you need to know:

  • Contract role via staffing partner (Magnit)

  • Senior scope: full-cycle recruiting for Sales & Sales Engineering

  • Pay range equivalent: $102K–$170K annualized (location dependent)

  • Metrics, pipeline strategy, and candidate closing are core expectations

  • Some roles may require brief in-person onboarding

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
Senior Bookkeeper (Part-Time / Contract)

This is client-facing bookkeeping supporting law firms, with an emphasis on accuracy, reconciliations, and trust/IOLTA accounting — not general admin or AR/AP cleanup.

You’d be maintaining clean books, reconciling accounts, and supporting onboarding alongside a Controller/Fractional CFO.

What you need to know:

  • From $25/hour

  • 10–30 hours/week

  • QuickBooks Online required

  • Law firm / trust (IOLTA) experience preferred

  • Client communication is part of the role

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
Contract Bookkeeper (Very Part-Time)

This is a micro-hours bookkeeping role supporting a small consulting firm — starting at up to 10 hours per month with room to grow over time.

The work is classic bookkeeping plus billing: reconciliations, AP/AR, invoicing, and keeping QuickBooks clean.

What you need to know:

  • $22–$26/hour

  • Starts at ~10 hours/month (not week)

  • Must have some availability during regular business hours

  • QuickBooks + Excel required

  • Billing/invoicing is part of the work

The kind of person this suits:
Someone who already has a primary focus (another role, caregiving, homeschooling, or consulting) and wants a small, steady bookkeeping engagement, not a workload-heavy contract.

Worth knowing:
This is not evenings-only or weekends-only work. They’re explicit about needing overlap with business hours and a thoughtful application process.

HEALTHCARE TECH
Head of Customer Success

This is a senior CS leadership role owning retention, expansion, and team performance during a growth phase — not portfolio CS or hands-on ticket work.

You’d be leading a team of CSMs, setting success metrics, partnering with Sales, and shaping how customer success drives revenue at scale.

What you need to know:

  • $170K base, up to $260K OTE + equity

  • Full-time leadership role

  • Manages and develops an existing CS team

  • Heavy focus on net retention, metrics, and systems

  • Healthcare staffing experience is a strong advantage

CYBERSECURITY
Project Manager, Professional Services (Contract)

You’d be managing end-to-end services projects, owning scope, timelines, resources, and financials across a high-volume portfolio.

What you need to know:

  • $60/hour

  • 12-month contract

  • Engagements are typically under 100 days

  • Portfolio load: ~30 projects, ~$1M in services revenue

  • Emphasis on delivery, utilization, and margin tracking

  • Project tools like MS Project / Smartsheets are core

The kind of person this suits:
A senior PM who’s already run client-facing services projects at scale and is comfortable juggling multiple deployments, financial accountability, and shifting priorities without a long ramp.

HR TECH
Strategic Change Manager (Contract)

This is a change-through-communications role focused on helping large enterprise clients actually adopt transformation — shaping narratives, campaigns, and leader toolkits that make change stick.

What you need to know:

  • 6-month contract

  • Hybrid (location flexibility required)

  • Heavy emphasis on enterprise change communications

  • High-intensity launch cycles followed by sustain phases

Worth knowing:
This is a “first-in” role. They’re looking for someone comfortable building the playbook, navigating ambiguity, and owning both the message and the momentum.

FINTECH
Senior Technical Sourcer (6-Month Contract)

This is a top-of-funnel technical sourcing role focused on building pipeline for high-priority engineering hires — not full-cycle recruiting and not junior sourcing support.

You’d be owning outreach through first interview, partnering closely with tech recruiters and hiring managers, and experimenting with sourcing approaches at scale.

What you need to know:

  • 6-month contract

  • Pay rates:

    • $73/hr (NYC, LA, Seattle, SF Bay Area)

    • $66/hr (other US locations)

  • Engineering roles only

  • Tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Covey (or similar) expected

The kind of person this suits:
A senior sourcer who genuinely enjoys passive candidate outreach and pipeline building — especially someone who’s supported engineering hiring before and likes testing and refining sourcing strategies.

B2B SAAS
Senior Technical Recruiter (Contract)

This is a full-cycle technical recruiting role supporting engineering and product hiring at scale — not sourcing-only and not coordinator work.

You’d be partnering closely with hiring managers, running searches end to end, and managing pipelines across multiple time zones in a fully distributed environment.

What you need to know:

  • 6-month contract

  • Senior scope: engineering + product roles

  • Full ownership from sourcing through close

  • Heavy stakeholder partnership and pipeline reporting

  • Ashby or similar ATS experience is a plus

The kind of person this suits:
A seasoned technical recruiter who’s already hired engineers and product talent in fast-moving environments and is comfortable driving outcomes asynchronously without a lot of process overhead.

Worth knowing:
This role expects strategic judgment and strong communication — you’re influencing hiring decisions, not just filling reqs.

💰 My FAVORITE Way to Earn Extra 💲

As a mom of four (under age 12), family vacations can be pricey. Add the rising costs of traveling and groceries and it’s easy to see why it feels impossible to do annually.

In 2022, I decided to create an income stream to make traveling groceries easier. That’s when I learned about market research.

I applied for opportunities while in car pool lines or getting stuck in traffic. And as someone who loves sharing my thoughts on products, experiences, or brands, market research was a no-brainer.

🙌 User Interviews helped me earn more than $3K! I was able to pay for a trip to Disney and reduce my monthly grocery budget.
