Welcome!

Hey there, Flexperts!

Yesterday I shared that January and February see the biggest surges in job vacancies. I wrote this article breaking down why I believe that and how I made almost $13K in two months (working less than 40 hours) as a result.

Let’s dive in to today’s roles.

FINTECH
Recruiter - GTM (Contract)

This is a hands-on GTM recruiting role for someone who already knows how to hire sales, RevOps, marketing, and CS in a startup environment.

You’d be owning full-cycle searches and working closely with hiring managers during a growth push, not just sourcing, but actually driving hires through.

What you’ll care about:

  • $60–$80/hour

  • Focused on GTM roles only (Sales, RevOps, Marketing, CS)

  • Expectation: ~4–8 hires per quarter

  • Fast pace, clear outcomes, modern ATS (Ashby)

FINTECH
Senior Talent Acquisition Sourcer

This is a pure sourcing-heavy contract role at a mature, high-performing SaaS company β€” not end-to-end recruiting and not junior pipeline work.

You’d be focused on mapping talent pools, generating names, and screening, with most searches skewing Director and VP level.

What actually matters here:

  • No coordinator work or scheduling

  • High-volume + high-quality expectations

  • Heavy LinkedIn Recruiter + Boolean work

  • Greenhouse + CRM experience is required

  • Exposure to LLM-assisted sourcing is a plus

The kind of person this suits:
Someone who’s fast, structured, and confident sourcing senior talent and can deliver strong shortlists consistently.

SALES/AI
Sales Representative (Research Project – Contract)

This is not a quota-carrying sales role. It’s paid research work using your real-world sales experience to help train AI systems.

You’d be designing and reviewing sales-related questions and scenarios based on how the job actually works in practice.

What you’ll care about:

  • Paid hourly (rate varies by background and location)

  • Minimum 15 hours/week commitment

  • Project expected to run through mid-2026 (or longer)

  • Independent contractor

  • Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise

  • Fully flexible schedule

The kind of person this suits:
Someone with several years of professional sales experience who wants flexible, predictable income without selling, managing pipelines, or dealing with clients.

CRYPTO
Payroll Analyst (Contract)

This is a serious, hands-on payroll role at scale β€” not payroll coordination, not junior processing.

You’d be running end-to-end global payroll, dealing with audits, tax jurisdictions, reconciliations, and compliance across the US, Canada, and internationally.

What stands out:

  • Six-month contract

  • $56K-$87K

  • Full-cycle, high-volume payroll ownership

  • Global scope (US, Canada + international)

  • Heavy compliance, audits, and reconciliation work

  • Strong Excel requirements (pivot tables, lookups)

Worth knowing:
This is not a light or part-time payroll role. It’s operationally intense and expects confidence with compliance, systems, and detail-heavy work. Crypto interest helps, but payroll depth matters more.

COMMUNICATIONS
Marketing Campaign Coordinator (FL ONLY: 1099/Part-Time)

This is a hands-on campaign execution role supporting a Director of Marketing & Growth β€” writing, scheduling, and shipping content across email, social, and webinars.

You’re not setting strategy. You’re making sure campaigns actually go out on time and look polished.

What matters:

  • $25–$35/hour

  • ~20 hours/week (with room to grow)

  • HubSpot is central to the work

  • Florida-based candidates only

The kind of person this suits:
Someone who’s a strong, confident writer and likes campaign logistics β€” drafting emails, scheduling posts, managing calendars, and keeping details tight β€” without owning growth strategy or analytics. If you like clear direction and being the person who gets things done, this is a good one.

FINTECH
AI Context Specialist / Technical Writer (Contract)

This is a documentation-heavy, systems-thinking role sitting at the intersection of data, analytics, and AI β€” not marketing writing, not product copy.

You’d be turning complex data and product logic into clean, reusable documentation that actually powers internal analytics and AI tools.

What matters:

  • $60–$75/hour

  • 6-month contract

  • Portfolio required

  • Deep focus on documentation quality, structure, and consistency

  • Close collaboration with product, data, and customer-facing teams

The kind of person this suits:
Someone who’s already done technical writing in software or data environments and enjoys making messy systems understandable β€” especially if you’ve worked near AI, analytics, or BI tools and care about precision more than volume.

Worth knowing:
This isn’t a β€œwrite it once and move on” role. You’re expected to iterate, audit existing docs, and own standards (templates, versioning, review workflows).

AGRO
Transportation Coordinator (Delivery Fleet) β€” Temporary

This is a seasonal operations coordination role focused on keeping deliveries moving during a busy period β€” monitoring loads, resolving issues, and communicating with drivers and customers.

You’d be working inside transportation systems, closing out deliveries, fixing problems as they come up, and keeping data clean so payments and timelines stay on track.

What matters:

  • Temporary / seasonal role

  • Ops-heavy, detail-focused work

  • Direct communication with drivers and customers

  • Spreadsheet and system work (TMS, NetSuite, Salesforce helpful)

  • Fast-moving, reactive environment

PERSONAL FINANCE
Contract Editor, Special Projects

This is editorial depth work, not content marketing and not volume editing.

You’d be editing and publishing finance content tied to investing, retirement, homebuying, and financial planning β€” both new pieces and updates to existing articles β€” as part of Investopedia’s Special Projects team.

What matters:

  • $50/hour

  • ~15 hours/week

  • 6-month contract (with potential to extend)

  • Paid via staffing agency (W-2)

  • SEO and fact-checking are part of the job, not optional

The kind of person this suits:
An experienced finance editor who already understands personal finance topics and likes polishing serious, high-trust content β€” especially if you’ve worked with established publications and care about accuracy as much as clarity.

πŸ’° My FAVORITE Way to Earn Extra πŸ’²

As a mom of four (under age 12), family vacations can be pricey. Add the rising costs of traveling and groceries and it’s easy to see why it feels impossible to do annually.

In 2022, I decided to create an income stream to make traveling groceries easier. That’s when I learned about market research.

I applied for opportunities while in car pool lines or getting stuck in traffic. And as someone who loves sharing my thoughts on products, experiences, or brands, market research was a no-brainer.

πŸ™Œ User Interviews helped me earn more than $3K! I was able to pay for a trip to Disney and reduce my monthly grocery budget.
