Welcome!
Hey there, Flexperts!
January and February see the biggest surges in job vacancies. Now is the time to ready your resume, portfolio, or pitches and start seeking your next fractional client or part-time opportunity. More on that in a future post.
These roles have been sourced and I’m not actively hiring for them. That means that I have no insight on their hiring process. If you land an interview, make sure to mention that you found the role on FlexpertJobs.com.
Let’s dive in.
LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT
Braven: Part-Time Coaching Specialist
This is a structured, part-time role focused on coaching and supporting facilitators — not students directly. You’d be observing sessions, giving feedback, and doing 1:1 coaching with volunteer leaders who run Braven’s programs.
What to know:
$30/hour
15–20 hours per week
January–May 2026 (temporary)
Requires weekday availability + 4–6 evening hours per week
Set schedule (not “work whenever”)
Good fit:
You’ve taught, coached, facilitated, or trained adults before and like giving feedback, running calls, and helping others get better at what they do.
Important call out:
This is not asynchronous work — you need to be available during specific weekdays and some evenings
You must be located in one of Braven’s operating states (listed in the posting)
SALES
Prestatech: Sales Manager (FinTech)
This is a senior sales role for someone who already sells into banks, lenders, or fintechs — and has a working network.
You’d be leading U.S. commercial growth, working directly with founders, owning the full sales cycle, and shaping go-to-market strategy.
What to know:
Open to fractional (part-time, outcome-driven) or full-time
Senior-level (10+ years experience expected)
Fintech / regulated B2B SaaS focus
Performance-based compensation (base + upside)
High ownership, high trust role
Good fit:
You already sell complex fintech solutions in the U.S., have existing relationships with banks or lenders, and want flexibility without stepping away from serious revenue responsibility.
Important call out:
This is not a ramp-up role. They’re explicitly looking for someone who can leverage an existing network and move deals forward quickly.
OPERATIONS
Platform Implementation Manager (Contract W2)
You’ve worked in operations, onboarding, project coordination, or account management — especially in a tech or platform environment.
This is a contract role through a recruiting agency, not a direct hire, which means:
Clear start and end dates
W-2 pay
Benefits eligibility during the contract
For a lot of people, that structure actually makes life easier.
What It Is:
You’d be managing onboarding and implementation for small and mid-sized businesses using the company’s platform — think kickoff calls, coordinating setups, troubleshooting issues, and helping clients get live without chaos.
You’re basically the organized person making sure everything actually works once a deal is signed.
Highlights to know:
40 hours/week
$40–$41/hour
Start: January 2026
End: July 2026
HUMAN RESOURCES
Finalis: Head of People & Talent (Fractional)
This one’s a fractional/contract people leadership role through a recruiting agency — good for someone who knows HR strategy and execution but doesn’t want a full-time gig. You’d be the person actually running people + talent for a growing company — hiring strategy, systems, priorities — not just cleaning things up or “supporting leadership.”
What to know:
Compensation listed around $4,000–$6,000 per month
Experience level: mid/senior HR/People leader
Good fit if:
You’ve already led recruiting or people ops before, you’re comfortable making decisions, and you want meaningful work without committing to a full-time executive role.
COMMUNICATIONS
The Choice: Communications & Program/Event Support Specialist (Part-Time)
You’d be supporting communications (newsletters, updates, social content) plus light program and event coordination during a busy spring term.
What matters here:
$27/hour
Up to 20 hours/week
February–June 2026 (temporary)
Requires availability across CT, MT, and PST time zones
You need your own computer + reliable internet
Good fit if:
You’ve done communications, program support, or event coordination before and like roles where writing, calendars, and follow-through actually matter. This is fast-paced and detail-heavy — less creative strategy, more execution.
LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT
CommonLit: Professional Development Facilitator (Part-Time, Contractor)
This one is for people with an education background who like leading adults — not classroom teaching, not curriculum writing alone.
You’d be delivering professional development for schools adopting CommonLit’s curriculum, both virtually and on-site depending on the season.
What matters here:
$35/hour for virtual work
$600–$700 per on-site day (travel covered)
Part-time contractor
Peak workload: June–September, up to ~20 hrs/week
Virtual sessions run between 8am–7pm ET
On-site PD can require overnight travel (up to once/week)
Important call-outs:
This is not fully virtual year-round — on-site facilitation is part of the role
You need proximity to a major airport
Applications are rolling, but priority is given to those submitted by Feb 1, 2026
💰 One of My Favorite Side Incomes 💲
As a mom of four (under age 12), family vacations can be pricey. Add the rising costs of traveling and groceries and it’s easy to see why it feels impossible to do annually.
In 2023, I decided to create an income stream to make traveling groceries easier. That’s when I learned about market research.
I applied for opportunities while in car pool lines or getting stuck in traffic. And as someone who loves sharing my thoughts on products, experiences, or brands, market research was a no-brainer.
🙌 User Interviews helped me earn more than $3K! I was able to pay for a trip to Disney and reduce my monthly grocery budget.
